Asma Shobnom Rupa is an accomplished development practitioner with demonstrated leadership in policy formulation, program implementation, and capacity development. Currently serving as Program Manager at Action for Balance on Climate and Dignity - ABCD, she brings over seven years of professional experience in development programming, monitoring and evaluation, and advocacy. She leads initiatives that promote gender equity, youth empowerment, and health rights through rights-based and inclusive approaches.
Her expertise spans strategic project design and management of gender justice interventions, development of participatory training curricula and monitoring frameworks, facilitation of multi-stakeholder capacity building initiatives, policy analysis, institutional strengthening, and the production of knowledge products, including case studies and advocacy materials. With an academic background in Law and Social Sciences, Shobnom combines technical expertise with grassroots insights to design and implement inclusive programs.
